With over 15 years of hands-on engineering experience spanning Airbus, Jaguar Land Rover, Vertical Aerospace, Lilium, and Zoox, I founded Desire Electric to bring principal-level engineering expertise directly to ambitious programmes — without the overhead of a large consultancy.
My career has taken me from aerospace materials testing at Airbus and medical device design management, through to leading electrification battery design teams at JLR, designing VTOL battery modules compliant with EASA standards at Vertical Aerospace, managing battery cell industrialisation at the UK Battery Industrialisation Centre, and most recently managing the full AV requirements architecture at Zoox (Amazon) in California.
